About the Event
Ayurveda is the 'sister science' of yoga, a 4000 year old ancient body of knowledge which aims to bring about 'whole-of-self' health and wellness through diet, nutrition, daily exercise, lifestyle choices and self-care.
Ayurvedic cooking principles focus on the natural cycle of the seasons and help us to select and prepare foods that are easily digestible and deeply nourishing.
In this 'taster' workshop you will learn about the basics of Ayurvedic cooking including how to cook for the seasons, how to integrate the five elements - earth, water, fire, air + either - and explore how to use different herbs and spices and specific ingredients to bring balance to your body and mind.
Offered as part of the Wellbeing Mini-Retreat for the Love Winter in Aireys event.
