About the Event
Ayurveda is the 'sister science' of yoga, a 4000 year old ancient body of knowledge which aims to bring about 'whole-of-self' health and wellness through diet, nutrition, daily exercise, lifestyle choices and self-care.
Ayurvedic self-care principles focus on the natural cycle of the seasons and help us find balance every day.
In this 'taster' workshop you will learn about key Ayurvedic Marma Points (energy points) of the hand, foot, face and head, practice a variety of self-massage techniques, learn about the qualities of different oils and how to select the most appropriate for your unique body and skin type and receive a take-home worksheet allowing you to integrate this practise of self-massage into you daily or weekly self-care routine.
Offered as part of the Wellbeing Mini-Retreat for the Love Winter in Aireys event.
