About the Event
Research shows that when we feel more connected to nature we are significantly more likely to protect it. This gathering is an invitation to slow down, connect and reflect on your love of the beautiful natural environment surrounding us. On offer will be a variety of nature connection, deep ecology, mindfulness and eco-arts based activities for both adults and children.
This workshop will be based on the model we have developed for the Wild Nature Gatherings which offer an opportunity for both adult-centred time in nature and child-centred nature based play and exploration.
This facilitated experience is for you if you want to:
- Feel more energised and present
- Experience a reset
- Feel more connected to the natural world
- Benefit from nurturing quality time in nature
- Be with other nature loving folk
This gathering is FREE and supported by the Anglesea Community House and the Surf Coast Shire as part a series of events and workshops focusing on sustainability.
It will be lead by Ali (Liminal Life) and Pru Gell (Coming to Life) - both local mama’s with many years of facilitation experience and a special interest in exploring Nature Connection and Deep Ecology as keys to establishing a more sustainable, regenerative and healthy society.
Acknowledging the Traditional Custodians on whose Country we will gather is very important to us and we will do our best to humbly try to honour them as part of this gathering.
