Garshana + Abhyanga

Ayurvedic dry body brushing (garshana) is an ancient healing ritual which helps cleanse the skin and renew the whole body. It is particularly beneficial in the winter months and in the transition form winter to spring. Gentle brushing with hemp gloves helps to remove dead skin, stimulate the lymphatic system and promote blood circulation, this is followed by a soft "buffing" with raw silk gloves in a rhythmic motion to leave the skin feeling soft and smooth. This traditional treatment is completed with a full body massage (abyhanga) with warm herbal oils selected specifically for your body-mind constitution to ease aches and pains, melt away tension in the body, ease afflictions of the mind and nourish and stimulate healthy skin. Oils are selected specifically for your dosha and skin condition to help balance and revitalise and leave you glowing.
