Service Description

Massage in the postpartum period is highly revered and brings many benefits including enhancing relaxation, encouraging faster postpartum healing, supporting the development of mother-baby bond, reducing pain, discomfort, inflammation, swelling, water retention post birth. Traditional Ayurvedic postpartum care teaches that regular massage is essential to promote healing for a new mama. Beginning with a thorough consultation and plenty of time to hear about your pregnancy, labour and birth journey, warm herbalised oils + botanical essences will be selected based on your unique constitution and health and emotional wellbeing needs. A head-to-toe massage with particular focus on the pelvis + abdominal region and any tight/sore areas is completed in the comfort of your own home or at one of my beautiful treatment spaces In clinic - $160 (Torquay or Aireys Inlet) In-home treatment - $180 *treatments at home are highly recommended within the first 6-8 weeks of giving birth so as to not disrupt the healing environment and establishment of a daily routine for mother and baby.
